Tengo un script que me crea una caja para texto con scroll, llamando a un archivo .html. Escribo el código primero y luego os hago la cuestion:

Lo que hay despues del body no entiendo muy bien para que sirve, pero lo he mantenido.
Pues bien, este código funciona a la perfeccion en firefox pero en explorer solo me aparece un recuadro blanco. A ver si alguien sabe que debo cambiar en el código.
