ayuda con jquery

tengo este código y no se como puedo arreglar ya que según este código no me deja abrir la web con google crome y no tengo ningún problema con el explore y con firefox, esto le adjunto el código para que me pudieran ayudar solo es arreglar que no me dejar abrir google crome y me lanza a descargar el firefox

Pero ¿Hiciste solo copy/paste cierto?.

Veo que quieres ver que navegador esta usando y mostrarle un html me parece ser. Creo que es mucho mas facil usando un lenguaje del lado del servidor como php , ademas mejoras la parte de los robots de google,bing etc. Ya que ellos no pueden leer los scripts.

estoy intentando mejorar mi web. He insertado en cabecera una slide nivo-slider e un menu desplegable siempre basado en jQuery.
El problema es que creo haya un conflicto entre los 2, ya q el desplegable no funciona.
Alguien sabría ayudarme?

Hola:

Yo opino que no deberías complicarte utilizando un plugin jQuery para hacer el efecto del menú desplegable, pues se puede hacer con CSS.

Un consejo: siempre envuelve tu código jQuery con esto:

$(document).ready(function() {
  // Aquí escribes tu código
});

para que sólo se ejecute el código al cargarse el contenido por completo (para que no falten elementos). Esto no es necesario cuando sabes que el código no utiliza elementos que no están disponibles.
